In-Patient Care Supervisor
Pattie has worked with the Pet Medical Center of Edmond since July 2008. She graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 1978 with a BA in finance.
Pattie has three children, Gina, Zeb, and Erin, and seven wonderful grandchildren. Other additions to Pattie’s family are her cat, Halloween; dog, Grimm; a guinea pig named Tank; and a gecko named Lizzy.
During Pattie’s free time, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading, hiking, and fishing.
Gina relocated to Edmond in May 2016 and joined the Pet Medical Center team in August 2016. She graduated from North Oklahoma College in 1986 with an associate’s degree in business administration. Gina is currently attending OSU-OKC and plans to apply to the Cardiovascular Sonography program in May 2017.
She has two children and two grandchildren with whom she loves spending as much time as possible. She lives with her best friend, a dog named Speck who is a border collie/Catahoula hound mix. Speck wakes Gina up every morning so they can go on a walk together! Gina plans to search out opportunities to volunteer in the community, especially in the area of animal rescue and care.
Joy has been with us since November of 2018 and she brings with her 25 years of prior experience as a vet tech, primarily in emergency medical situations. Originally from Mississippi, Joy moved to Oklahoma via Alabama 14 years ago.
Joy is married and shares her home with two teenagers, three cats, boxers, and Italian greyhounds. She enjoys her flower garden, reading, and college football. She is very excited to be with us at PMCOE!
Megan works with us as an office manager/client care specialist, and she has been with us for the last two years. In her free time, she loves to read and travel—but really what she does most is spend time with her pets, which include two dogs named Dodger and Harley and a cat named Sammie. She currently has plans to go back to school to pursue an agriculture degree, and she hopes to one day have a small cattle farm.
Client Care Specialist
Alexis, of the red-headed variety, is one of our spectacular client care specialists who has been with us since February of 2018. She is an army brat, and at one point in her life lived in Germany for four years. An avid dog lover, Alexis has four mutts and one cat, and proudly states her favorite breed of dog is a rescue dog.
In her free time, Alexis loves to read, and cites Croatia as her favorite vacation spot. Eventually, she is looking towards pursuing a nursing degree.
Client Care Specialist
Andi, one of our client care specialists, was raised in California as the only girl of seven children—prior to joining us she worked as a professional groomer for 25 years. She also has years of experience in office management and veterinary care. She has 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
Andi currently has two fur babies, Bandit, a great pyrenees/St. benard mix and Nala, a great pyrenees/newfoundland mix. Some of her favorite things include horses, dogs, camping, sewing, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Liz is one of our newest registered vet techs who started in the field 10 years ago as a kennel technician. After realizing how much she loved the work environment, she decided to go to school to be an RVT, and she graduated from OSU-OKC in 2014 with an associate degree in veterinary technology. Her professional interests include surgery, pain management, and anesthesia.
At home, Liz has three doggies: a 13-year old American Eskimo named Molly, a 10-year old chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund) named Piddles, and a new puppy named Hazel. She has been married to her husband for seven years and they have a three-year old daughter.
Brittney is a vet assistant who is new to this field, but she has hopes to further her career by pursuing classes to continue her education. She is a proud lover of turtles, and also loves children, and spending time outdoors. As far as pets go, Brittney is a happy dog mom of a four-year old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix named Kaya and a 4 month old weimaraner mix named Paisley.
Tina Williams is currently training as a vet assistant and working to complete her veterinary assistant certification. Simply put, Tina LOVES animals. She grew up with and cared for them her entire life. Back in Texas, she was raised with dogs, cats, and a pinto pony, and as a child she brought many strays home, and even admits to attempting to hide kittens in her bedroom closet.
Prior to her time with us, Tina volunteered for four years with Paws for Life Inc. at the Edmond Animal Shelter, where she served as a volunteer coordinator. While there, she co-created the Community Cat Coalition of Edmond which concentrates on caring for and decreasing the feral cat populations around the Edmond area. Speaking of felines, Tina is a proud pet owner of several rescue cats as well as a rescue dog named Mcduff.
Selena is one of our kennel techs who was originally born in Texas but was raised in Oklahoma most of her life. As a one-year old she crawled her way into a horse pen, and it was at that moment that her family knew she would end up working with animals as a career. Her current goal is to become a vet tech, but for now she is excited to be a kennel tech so she can learn and grow in the field until tech school.
Selena has four fur babies: Louie, Whiskey Jack, Huntleigh, and Baby Baker. When she isn’t working, her hobbies include painting and hiking with Whiskey Jack.
Jennifer works with us as a veterinary assistant and states that she has two loves in her life: her family and animals. When she isn’t working, you can find her with her family and enjoying the outdoors and nature.
She has raised three boys and now she is loving being a grandmother. As far as pets go, Jennifer has two cats, Lucy and Faux, and splits care time with her father’s dog Alex.
Sara works with us as a vet tech, where she has been in this capacity since November of 2018. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Sara moved to Oklahoma in 2017 with her fiancé. They currently have an assortment of pets: two dogs named Max and Echo and two cats named Bucky and Elm.
Sara is a credentialed vet tech here as well as in Arizona, and she enjoys hiking, camping, and reading.
I’m 24 years old. I was born and raised in Oklahoma City. I come from a big family of eight. this is my first time being able to work with animals, something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m shy and very quiet but I have a really big heart. I have my own cleaning business that I’ve run for 3 years now. I clean mostly for senior citizens. I’m thankful I’ve had the opportunity to work with small children, senior citizens, and now animals! I also have 2 fur babies, Daisy and Pebbles.
