She received her bachelor’s in veterinary hospital management from St. Petersburg in 2008. She passed her CVPM exam in January 2013.
Jenny is currently a founding member of the Oklahoma Network of Veterinary Practice Managers and a current member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. In 2006, she was named Arkansas Veterinary Technician of the Year.
She is married to Mike and they have three amazing daughters. She is also a multi-level Girl Scout Troop Leader, has a massive Disney obsession, and owns a dog-sitting business! Jenny and her family are currently owned by an aptly named Boston terrier, Goofy!

During Pattie’s free time, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading, hiking, and fishing.
Melissa joined the Pet Medical Center team in May 2012. Melissa’s career in the animal field started in 2001 when she got a job as a playtime tech at a local boarding facility. Since then she has worked as a vet assistant in Southern California, and she earned her certification as a vet assistant in Texas. In 2007 she moved back to Oklahoma City and joined the team at the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Hospital, where she was employed for two-and-a-half years.
Melissa and her mom share their house with five four-legged creatures: three cats, named Mork, Adeline, and Racket, and two Cairn Terriers, named Rosie and Ivy.
Melissa enjoys participating in the Society for Creative Anachronism and playing in the Oklahoma City Community Handbell Choir. She is also working toward her veterinarian technician registration through the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
Jessica is an Oklahoma native. She grew up in Edmond and attended the University of Central Oklahoma. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Registered Veterinary Technician
Taylor was born and raised in Laverne, OK. She grew up around veterinary medicine: her mom is a veterinarian and owner of her own clinic in Laverne! Taylor went to school at Heritage College Veterinary Technician Program, where she was the VP of the Veterinary Technician Student Association (VTSA). She passed her state and national exams in April 2016. Taylor has three dogs and one cat.
Gina relocated to Edmond in May 2016 and joined the Pet Medical Center team in August 2016. She graduated from North Oklahoma College in 1986 with an associate’s degree in business administration. Gina is currently attending OSU-OKC and plans to apply to the Cardiovascular Sonography program in May 2017.
She has two children and two grandchildren with whom she loves spending as much time as possible. She lives with her best friend, a dog named Speck who is a border collie/Catahoula hound mix. Speck wakes Gina up every morning so they can go on a walk together! Gina plans to search out opportunities to volunteer in the community, especially in the area of animal rescue and care.
Aubrey graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in May 2016 with a B.S. in biology and a minor in criminal justice. She is currently applying to veterinary school and hopes to attend either OSU, Texas A&M, KState, or UC Davis. She is owned by two Pembroke Welsh Corgis (Ezra and Desmond) and one miniature Daschund (Buddy). Aubrey also has one grumpy ol’ hedgehog named Nguyenslow!
Aubrey’s goal is to become a veterinarian for small animals and exotics as well as an Animal Cop. Her dream is to expand the Humane Society into something like the ASPCA, where she has the ability to help save animals out in the field and help family pets. When not working, she collects Die Cast cars, and she loves the Fast and the Furious, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. She is also a huge gamer and plays X-Box and Playstation.
We are very fortunate to have Emily join our team as a veterinary assistant. Emily grew up on a farm in Guthrie where they had goats, horses, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and cats. She realized at a young age that she wanted to work with animals and pursue a career in animal health.
She has 3 cats, Patrice (feisty calico), Theo (cross-eyed tabby), and Gen (snuggler) who keep her on her toes and provide us with great stories! In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, reading, and spending time outdoors!
Kris is the newest veterinary assistant to join our team! He is originally from Dallas, TX. He graduated from Langston University, which is in the middle of nowhere, with his Bachelors of Animal Science and Biology.
Kris has a French Bulldog named Quavo (who is his wing-man) and has always wanted to be a veterinarian. He also thought the veterinary field consisted of mostly men, but found out that he was wrong! Kris plans to start veterinary school in the next year or 2!
